Worst Customer Service

Arrived early for a conference and was told that I couldn't check in yet because my room type wasn't available currently. No problem. Waited and checked back 2 hrs later, and was told someone had checked out of the room type I was waiting for, but the room wasn't ready yet. I asked her if I could check back in 30 mins then and see if it was ready. Response "if you want." 45 minutes later I checked in to see if the room had been cleaned and was told "not yet. We don't have to let you check in until 4pm." Which was the time my conference started and I needed a shower and to change before. At that time it was 1 hr before I needed to head to the conference center, so I asked if they could downgrade my room type, supposed to be a suite to a normal non-smoking room and was told no. When I couldn't get a firm estimate on when they'd ask the room to be cleaned so I could check in, I again pointed out the urgency to make it to the conference and was finally told I could have a smoking room. With no other option, I agreed. The room reeked, of course. I called and asked if I could be moved as soon as they had the other room I was supposed to have cleaned and was told no. Have never stayed somewhere that had such an unfriendly staff who was unwilling to help accomodate their guests. My husband was traveling the same day and also arrived at his hotel early. When they had someone check out of a room, they immediately had housekeeping go and clean it. This hotel could learn from them about customer service.

We used this as a crash pad after a night out on the town for my birthday. We reserved 2 rooms which ended up being adjoining, the rooms were clean and convenient to McGillin's. The people there were super nice and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was just fair, we were pretty hungover and disappointed there was no potatoes. I would totally do this again the price was right and split between the people who stayed over it was probably as much as we would have spent on parking and tolls.

I enjoyed my visit at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and you can walk to alot of things and the hot tub was so nice. They have early check in. But the breakfast was so nasty to us
