Room was in disrepair. I had no locks, bullet holes, blood stains, dirty carpet, loose wires, no lights, tears in the carpet. Everything about this room made me feel like I was paying double the price for a Motel 6 room (I think their room might have been nicer). I would not recommend. The only up side for me was that it was walking distance from the Aquarium.

Well, Ok I went for the cheap way out, my bad. Last time I'll do that. The hotel was old and run down. The air in the first two rooms did not work. 90 degrees all three days so definitely needed it. Finally the third room we were put in had semi-working air. Hotel staff was not very well informed on their own shuttle service, got stuck downtown, called for a pick-up and were told the driver was gone for the day. Talked to the driver the next day and he told us he was still making runs, gave us his own # to call for rides, Very helpfull and a nice guy. Only postive of whole hotel stay. Pool had slime on bottom and sides looked like it had not been cleaned since it was installed.

This hotel should not qualify as a Ramada property, which I reported to Ramada. It is a flophouse. I checked in, and people were partying on the overhang of the drive-thru roof. None of the people outside looked like travelers, they were addicts. In the parking lot were about 30 people partying and doing obscene acts. The clientele going into the rooms were gang members. Inside the room it smelled EXTREMELY intensely like a mixture of mold and something sour, which I think may be meth, after I read methlabhomes.com today. I was there a total of ten minutes before I loaded my kids back up and checked out. Companies should not promote such a hotel to innocent traveling families and am very hesitant to continue association with Ramada based on this experience and the need to have secure, clean places to travel. I have never had to check out of any other hotel due to such conditions! (NOTE: I have only commented on bed comfort because it was required to submit - I did not use the beds.)

The air conditiong was broken when we got to the room. They fixed it quickly but it was loud. The room was very small and not at all like the picture on the internet. The carpet was so dirty that it turned my white socks black. The bathroom had a terrible order. We had only planned to stay 2 nights and that was the only reason we did not check out. The location is great but the pice of the hotel does not match the quality of the room.
