  I've been on the road, coast-to-coast and back in 15 days and stayed in 9 Holiday Inn or HIE hotels. This one was the best. The staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and inviting. Room colors were welcoming and matched the environment. Elevators served the upper floors, which is less common these days. The pool was open even though a little cool, but the pool area gave a good place to relax in the sun. The room was just as well maintained and clean as the rest of the hotel and the bed very comfortable. They offered both wireless and hard wire port for internet, which is particularly needed for business privacy. Nice touch. I needed to leave before breakfast started, but they had already stocked the basic essentials before 6 AM so I could get a coffee, yogurt, and fruit for the road. If you need a place to stay on I-30 in east Texas, this is the place. I'd take my kids here. They'd like it.

  The hotel staff were very helpful and the location of the property was great. the hotel is within walking distance to 4 restaurants. great value!
