This is oldest hotel I have stayed at in a long time. I am writing this to update some of the previous reviews. I stayed here because my company choose it to have a meeting. The meeting rooms were clean and did not smell so some updating must have been done. The hallways were hot, did not notice anybad smells. There was a glass by a door in our hallway. The age of the hotel showed in the small size and generally rough and loud operation of the elevators. The outdoor pool was not working, the indoor pool was but the coatings on the bottom and around it were flaking off. There was a dried wet area above one of the beds. Outside, I did not feel unsafe but there is a rather large fence around some of the property. In my limited interaction with the staff I had no problems, I did not complain about anything. When you do have an issue at any hotel you will see the true nature of the staff and management. One redeeming factor was the very comfortable beds. Pillow top mattress and down pillows, some people don't like them, we do. Another was we had a very nice breakfast served quickly by a very busy waitress who was all alone when half of our meeting piled in for breakfast. The lunch buffet was very reasonably priced and the food very good. All in all it was not the worst place I have stayed. That honor goes to a dump that was torn down many years ago but that is another review.

Shuttle forgot to pick me up, dinner order was forgotten and then when called to remind, it was the wrong order, woken up at 6:00 AM for they got the credit card situation wrong, dining room was closed on Sunday AND was not made aware on any of the documentation provided, Breakfast late and not cooked right, bathtub leaked into room below and told 'just not to use' it.

It was so bad that I refused to stay here and had to give up the money that I had already spent. There were security guards in the parking lot and the lot was fenced in. I got out of there in a hurry.
