I was looking for a not-too expensive, but still comfortable hotel to rest for a night. The rooms had convenient entrance/exit through the parking lot. I was coming from about 80 miles away, but was not very clear on how to find it. The front desk clerk stayed on the phone with me for 10 minutes when I got into town, helping me until I pulled up! When I'd called to make my reservation with the rate I'd found here, they quoted me an even lower one. My room was very spacious, the wi-fi connected immediately, and the bed was heavenly. I had a nice little fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker. The pool looked very well kept and so did the fitness room, which I did not use to burn off the freshly made Belgian waffles that were included in their very generous continental breakfast the next morning! Unfortunately, the walls are very thin, or I have VERY loud neighbors. I nervously called the front desk when I heard a guy verbally abusing his room-mate, and was apologized to several times. They immediately took care of the disturbance, and I was off to la-la land. I am looking forward to my next stay.

  • Small Room, Thin Walls, Okay Stay

We arrived in Greenville earlier than planned so we decided to see if there was a chance that our room was ready before check-in (even if it is ready they hardly ever let you check in early). Much to our delight, the lady at the desk let us check in early and on top of that was extremely polite. This Jameson Inn is smaller than most and is more "motel" style where your room door leads right to the parking lot rather than to a hallway. I reserved a room with a king sized bed which was located on the first floor. The room itself was your basic hotel room, it had a bed, a desk, TV, mini fridge, microwave, and a chair with an ottoman (a nice addition!) The bathroom was very small, but we were only staying for a night so that didn't bother us too much. The room was clean although the bathroom did smell like smoke (it was a non-smoking room). Being on the first floor, and right beside the lobby at that, was not an ideal place to be. You could hear everyone walking around outside and the little bell that dings when someone walks into the lobby. Cars playing loud music woke me up at 3am and a man whistling outside woke me up around 5:30am. As stated in the title, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything. The continental breakfast wasn't anything impressive, but it had juice, coffee, cereal, muffins, English muffins, microwave sausage biscuits, and a make-your-own Belgian waffle station. There's a nice little area to sit down and eat with a TV as well. Overall, I think you could get a better place for the money, but you have to be careful in which area you stay.

On an overnight trip to Greenville stayed at the Jameson. Room was exactly as described. Check in and out was hassle free. Nice location felt safe leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. Felt comfortable in the room. The room was pleasant the bed a little firmer than my liking. Nothing to say bad about the stay would recommend this place to anyone.
