I stayed here for a week and it was great. Location was a distance from the job, but i didn't mind leaving the car in the garage and walking. Philadelphia was a great experience, hotel staff was great especially ___ wasn't for her I would have been stress driving around Phili. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

This hotel is in the heart of Philadelphia. It was very clean and everyone that we met who was working there was friendly and helpful with any of our questions. My daughter was graduating from Phil U and will now be working in the area. We will be staying at this hotel on our future trips to Philadelphia.

The parking was way too expensive for self park at 38.00/nite. Other than the pool being small and dark at night, the hotel was really nice. We had Starbucks coffee in our room... also a bonus to me. We had a view of the historic courthouse from our window. Philly is very clean and the public bus system was not scary at all. I've been in some cities where I did not feel safe. We took the bus each way for $2 to and from the historic Independence area. I can't wait to go back. I just hope we get a good deal again like this one! Keep in mind, everything historic closes at 5PM! Whole Foods is a short walk away towards Ben Franklin Institute, but there was no fridge in the room. We had a cooler with us. Good luck.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Adding in the relatively inexpensive price of the room (about $**/night) only added to my worries. Once I checked into the Sharaton Center City, boy was I supprised! The hotel was yes, a few extra blocks from Walnut Street shopping and a quick cab ride from the historic attractions of Old City, but right at the doorstep is Love Park, City Hall, and The Parkway with a group of amazing museums! The rooms were clean and very accurate to the photos (blue comfortable beds and all!). There was also the wonderful indoor pool which no one else was taking advantage of! Last year I stayed a little closer to the city in the Crown Plaza Hotel for over $***/night and have to say that after my four day stay here, I wouldn't book a room anywhere else!
