This hotel is in a great location, if you're planning on going to Busch Gardens or Adventure Island. The shuttle is quick, efficient, and they pick up promptly from the parks once called. The staff is among the most courteous and helpful this side of Disney! Very impressive. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever experienced, and the fridge and microwave are important to me when I travel. The lobby is spotless and modern, complimentary breakfast is a very nice touch, and quite a spread! The pool is much nicer than it appears on the website, as the deck has been redone with pavers and looks great. The fitness room is nice, but a few resistance machines don't work properly. Not a big problem. If I had to pick a drawback, the TV has rather limited channels - only Cartoon Network for the kids. It'd be great if they had Nickelodeon. Not much for kids to do on a typical stormy FL summer afternoon, so that would've been helpful. I will be staying at this hotel again next time I go to Tampa for any reason!

We stayed in the hotel when dropping my daughter off at USF. The hotel is directly accessible to the school and Bush Gardens. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff was great and the breakfast was wonderful!

The location is super being across the street from USF and we were there to view the campus. However we ahd a bad experience with our room. During the night the floor next to the sofa became wet with water and my daughters clothes became soaked. We had to dry her closthes in the dryer before we could go on our campus tour. We also shortened our staty by two nights and moved to a different hotel. The management was super. They took care of our bill and gave us quarters to dry the clothes. The bed was comfortable except for the pillows. The pillows were some type of synthetic down that packed and became hard very quickly and were very uncomfortable. The food was good and I very much enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogurt. I noticed others who could not figure out how to get the belgian waffle maker to cook their waffles. They thought the first beep meant it was done when it really means time to turn the waffle iron over. Because of the bad experience with the water in hte floor, I would not stay at this hotel again. I do recommend other newer hotels near by.

This is a nice Hotel. It was clean, the staff were courteous. It is in a safe neighborhood. Busch Gardens Preferred Hotel. Do not stay on Busch Blvd. All hotels are old and dumpy and need security patrols.I will stay here again and highly recommend it.
