The security chain (bar) on the door was totally broken. Noisy, as there were gaps all the way around the door which let in all the sound from outside and the walls were very thin - I could hear people peeing in the bathroom next door. Yuck. The free web access was broken so I had to spend $4 at Kinko for 2 minutes on line to check in for our flight - staff appeared unconcerned. Hotel was centrally located with easy access to ALL attractions, and every restaurant you could think of within blocks. Nothing was bad enough to keep me from staying there again.

It was very neat and clean hotel. Everyday they cleaned the room well. Also it was convienently located near to Sea world and restaurant. The only issue I faced was my credit card was charged twice. I did booking through online travel website. After my return once I contacted hotel, they told that they had not provided them my payment info, hence they had charged my card. At last online travel website representative talked with hotel and told me that hotel will be refunding my charges. Hope to get it back soon:)

What a disaster. The walls were so paper thin we could hear every thing being said and done in the rooms up down and all around. The staff members were just plain rude when I asked question and complained about the walls vibraing from a stereo in the room next door. On one of the nights a tour bus was parked in front of more than half the rooms. The diesel fumes and noise finished off the ambiance. If cleanliness is important to you look for a different location. It will be a cold day in San Diego before I book a room at this site again.

The motel was as advertised and meet expectations for an inexpensive $** night room with 2 beds. It is in a seedier part of town but was comfortable and affordable. The room was clean and the facilities were well kept. The front desk person was friendly and quick. They even had a free small breakfast.

I prepaid through Travel online but desk clerk charged my card. I had to get on the phone with Travel online because the clerk didn't know from looking up my reservation that I was a Travel online client. Travel online worked it out but it took too much time. I had just driven from Houston to San Diego with only a short rest at a roadside rest stop. I had a return flight scheduled early the next morning and just wanted to rest and get cleaned up. I didn't expect the hassle because I prepaid and booked through Travel online . It was from the bathroom but smelled through the whole place. I was too tired to be moved to another room. I turned on the AC and it helped some. Also be aware that the area has strip clubs. It is Ramada Sea World and Sea World is near but if you are on a family trip, you might want to check a more family friendly area. The King-sized bed was comfortable and the room had an extra section for an eating area. Overall, the room needed better care and cleaning. Hairs were on the sink and in the towels.
