I was traveling to an international destination and needed to stay in Newark for the night. I wanted something cheap because I didn't have my family with me and just needed a place to stay. Aside from the stong scent of cigarette smoke in the lobby, I don't have any major complaints. I would stay here again thanks to the inexpensive price, but if I were bringing the wife and kids along, I would spend another thirty or fourty bucks and stay at a much nicer hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. Wished the restaurant had offered beer or wine, but the shuttle driver was kind enough to take us to another hotel where we had some dinner and drinks. Room was clean, staff were kind enough. Biggest drawback was that the hotel is so far from activities and public transit.

Got a super price from travel website. This place is a dump, but the price kind of reflects that. We arrived early and the hotel negotiated a $15.00 early check in fee, which I thought was pretty good. They frowned when I asked them about the free breakfast, which I thought was clearly stated in my agreement. It was a gross muffin, coffee and this nasty O.J. like tang. Hey what do you expect for a free breakfast. The room was old and nasty. But the killer was the window did not have a lock and I was on the first floor. When I asked them to fix it, 3 times, they finally moved me. They had this look like, look the compound is secured..... Oh well.

Date: Oct 17 / 2008 I moved to this hotel as they provide free shuttle to airport service. I got to the lobby at 8:35AM, and was told the next shuttle was at 9AM. I sat and waited for the shuttle in the lobby. The shuttle came and left at 8:50AM, without even asking customers in the lobby. The 2nd shuttle came back from the airport to the hotel at 9:10AM, and decided to end the day. We (other hotel guests and I) asked the driver and front office, to take us to the airport, but they ignored us. The front office told us to wait for the next shuttle, and not wanting to service the 2nd shuttle. The crowd gets larger as more guest wanting to get to the airport. Bad customer service and they don't take us seriously. Limited WIFI, must be near lobby. VERY RUDE, AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID AT ANY COST AS THEY WILL CAUSE U DELAY OR MISS YOUR FLIGHT.

Arrived at Newark Liberty and had to wait over an hour for the hotel shuttle service to arrive. Upon arrival at the hotel waited for another 40 minutes until a room was avaliable. The room was clean and comfortable execept for a leaking toilet that was not fixed during our stay. Booked a hotel sponsored shuttel to down town Manhattan at a cost of twelve dollars each way and was left in Manhattan at 11:00 at night, had to call a cab and spend another $120.00 to get back to the hotel in Newark. Would reccomend that no one book this service!!!
