Good for the price
08/11/2009Hotel was a good bargain for the price. was not impressed by the breakfast. waffles were the only hot item. not very efficient at keeping breakfast items stocked.

the room was clean, how ever after a day at the state fair I had come back to noitce that a bag of my clothes were missing. When I notified the manager, the staff was rude, the GM would not look at me while I was addressing my concerns. The door to my room was hard to close, and the doors to the outside were always proped open.

the bathroom lock didnt work the socetes could be pulled out of the wall and our wakeup call was 20+ mins late finaly we asked 4 a rolly bed and they looked 4 the key to the room 4 sometime then said that they where out and becusethey go on a first come first sirve baises.I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!

We choose Comfort because we belong to the rewards plan. I should have known we were in trouble when we were not allowed in the lobby and the lobby had an armed security guard. We could only reach our room through the outside entrance that was held open by a rather large, burly man. Once inside, we made our way to the second floor. The landing smelled terrible and low and behold, it appeared someone had urinated in the hall. The man downstairs was letting more men in, so we hurried to our room. The room appeared to have been used. We tried calling the desk repeatedly with no answer. The towels had been used as well as one bed. We waited until 12:30AM and still got no one...we went to bed and slept with our clothes on. The next morning, we tried to shower and had no water pressure and at best warm water. We quickly changed and thought we would grab coffee and there was none available at breakfast. We left the hotel and will not stop there ever again. I thoroughly disappointed and we paid more for that hotel room than any other on the trip! Columbus is a great place with generally wonderful places to stay...just not the Comfort Inn.
