Inept hotel staff fored us to wait in lobby 45 mins before correcting THEIR mistake and allowing us to check-in. Paid $ night for room w/o refrig. Same dump, new paint! Only positive note is excellent food at Benny's!

Perfect sports getaway

Had tickets to a Phillies game and decided to book this hotel so we wouldn't have to fight traffic and we could both drink and not worry about driving. It couldn't get much closer to Citizens Bank Park, as we were probably in our room before most people got out of the parking lot! The front desk people were efficient and nice and our room was beautiful with a view of the Philadelphia skyline! I saw my first grandslam and double play that night and then went to sleep in the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and I am not kidding! If I have to complain about anything, it would be that my pictures of the skyline were shaded by the dirty windows, but that's to be expected since the Schuylkill Expressway(no noise) was on that side of the hotel as well. I would definitely like to stay here again, although it was a bit more expensive than we're used to paying for a hotel.

This would be a great place to stay if you are attending the game or have business near the stadium. I was on a berevement call and it was still good. The rooms were quiet on the second floor even though I knew there was a lot of traffic and partying downstairs. There was a big empty space for the refrigerator and microwave. I guess they were recently removed. I realy missed thouse appliances. Our only problem was trying to leave or arrive just as the games were ending both nights of our stay. Make sure to get a parking pass.

I just stayed for the NCAA basketball games. The room loooked new, so I asked at the front desk and they told me all the rooms had just been rennovated. Thuis is the best location if you are a sports fan. The bar was really nice and was filled for the games. I had tickets and wlked to the arena. I thought the service was very good. No complaints.

I would like to fairly warn anyone wanting to stay at this establishment. DONT.... we were there for only a one night stay. It was by far the worst one night of my life. Im making it my life long goal to deter as many potential victims as possible from patronizing these idiots. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Staff, managers and corporate are unbelieveably unhelpful and rude. They can keep the coupon vouchers, i am never staing at a holiday in again after this experience. They care only about your money and not at all about your stay. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, totally incompetent. what a joke.......
