My family and I proudly give this Inn the best of the best score. They got us into a room as quickly as they could, before check in time, and did it with a smile. As we checked in they gave us a snack treat and greated us with a smile and 100% attentiveness. The room was as clean as the Plaza and the pool and its surrounding area was clean, safe and welcoming. The "free" breakfast is not a continental event but rather a full-fledge breakfast where you serve yourself the freshest (and most yummy) cinnamon rolls, donuts, eggs, bacon, bagels and I could go on and on. The 2 lady that are incharge of the breakfast were kind, helpful and right there to help, guide and serve you in any way they could. I liked how I was approached during breakfast and asked by the Inn manager how my stay was and if there was anything my family needed. The price was unbelievable, the location--perfect for the sights. I would go back again just to stay at the hotel.

We arrived early, about 5 hours before check in time, and were given a room immediately and told we could access the buffet breakfast! Location was excellent. It was a bit noisy at bar closing time, but only for a short amount of time. Not sure where the closest subway stop was, because we walked everywhere! Just a few blocks to the historical district. I've stayed in Holiday Inn Express' all over the world and this one was as nice as any I've been in. The lobby was nothing to write home about, but who really spends much time in the lobby?

The location was good. Within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see! Breakfast was not exciting, but adequate. We arrived at the hotel before 8:00 A.M. and were able to check into a room and did not have to wait until the posted check in time.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown for 3 nights in June 2009 and were totally pleased with the experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

This hotel was great for a family trip to Philly. We LOVED the lady that served our breakfast every day!!!! She was very helpful and brought us maps and told us how to get around to the things we were doing each day. Very nice!!! Liked the pool and the rooms were great except for the stained up carpet, but otherwise very clean and close to all the stuff to do in Philly like the Libery Bell and Betsy Ross House and the Mutter Museum!!!! Would stay again! Loved that breakfast lady!
