While this was not the greatest of all places to stay. its not all bad for a quick 1 or 2 night stay. I drove up to watch a couple of rockies games with a friend. The ball park was about 6 blocks from the hotel, which probably saved us $20-$40 in parking for the 2 games. We did have a back room which opened up to the railyard, but the noise did not seem to bother us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ws not impressed with the rooms at all, but then again, im not paying $ night. While I would not stay here with kids (pool was very small) i wouold stay again if i were to go up to watch another game.

This hotel is a shall we say, a freaking motel! If you stay here, expect the rail yard out back, do yourself a favor and DO NOT get a room on the backside of the hotel. Worse yet, there is nothing nearby EXCEPT Coors Field. It takes about 20mins to walk from the hotel. The rooms are dirty (the carpets are nasty), I'm looking at a nasty spot on the carpet I try to avoid stepping on at all costs, the rooms are sparse, the beds are so-so, too soft for me for sure. Wireless internet? Yeah, they got it, but don't expect toooooo much, speeds average about 300kbps (video of any kind ain't gonna fly). The TV selection is very limited, about 12 channels. The entire hotel is outside access only, if your a woman on business, this is not your hotel. Although convenient to downtown, without a restaurant after 3pm, better plan on heading into downtown for anything to eat. Unless you are used to dumps for business trips, avoid this place like the plague! Overall, staff was courteous, stuff worked, but for a couple bucks more, I'd stay anywhere else.

In short, if you need a cheap motel, this might work for you, but for me, for the money, I would look elsewhere.

Friendly staff and a dingy but clean room were my first impression of this hotel. Easy uphill walk to Coors field (where parking is a premium)was the highlight of our stay here. Usual continental breakfast was appreciated...service station next door with Quiznos, Dominos and Starbucks the closest eateries. Walk to Coors Field and you are close to resturants, bars and the 16th street shuttle.Hotel area is a little shady with plenty of harmless homeless people asking for a handout. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and we were stuck in the back where the sound of the trains braking lulled us to "sleep". Lightning hit a transformer one night and we were without electricity for a few hours. We also walked into our room one day and it smelled like someone had smoked in our room as it was cleaned, needed to keep the door open for an hour. A/C unit was always on high, but not putting out very cool air. Close to freeway and if you have a car check out Copper Mountain!!! For the price, we could have stayed at a nicer location, but since we were there to see the Rockies beat the Dogers, it was worth the hard bed and train lullabies. Good location if you want to see the Broncos!
