Great location. Front desk and valet were very professional and corteous---easy to drop off and pick up car, and check-in and check-out was a cinch. The room was fine, but the wall paper was peeling in places, the run was coming up by the door, the bathroom needed some tweaking, etc. I guess I was expecting the room, halls, etc., to be in better shape, but it did not hinder the overall postive experience.

My spouse and I stayed at this hotel on Sunday, June 14th, and found it to be a clean and very comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable. It is an old hotel, with very narrow corriders, and yet one of the best places I stayed during our trip.

The Latham is so close to so many things! I was able to enjoy the marvelous restaurants and lounges in the upscale Rittenhouse Square area, and I could also walk to Old City and enjoy the rich history of Philly. The rooms aren't very big, but are very cosy for a couple. Request a room facing the street, otherwise I was told a brick wall would be your view. The hotel staff was very nice and very helpful, especially the concierge/doorman!! I wish I could remember his name because he was awesome!! If you're going to Philly to enjoy everything the city has to offer, I would highly recommend this hotel!! It'll be where I stay again if I go back!
