I found the key to this hotel is being on the Riverside of the hotel. It is a nice view of the Delaware River, watching boats go up and down and a nice view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. If you are on the other side of the hotel you get to see and hear i-95 all night long. We enjoyed our room. Easy walking to the historic district and they do run a shuttle, (Just not during rush hours) but we enjoyed the walk. The staff was friendly and we had a fine time. The only issue is that the pillows are not at all comfortable. I feel that I must bring my own pillows next time I come here.

Our visit to Philadelphia was fabulous. We especially benefitted from the help of Katherine at the front desk. She gave us helpful information about where to eat and what to see and do. We learned about the city, but we also found a friendly person. The hotel shuttle service in the evening made it easy to get around after dark. The driver was very helpful.

Nice night staff, bar. Beds are terrible....you can feel the springs. Definitely an old hotel that would do well with updating, but since they are busy....they don't seem to care. Probably one of the least favorite Comforts I have stayed in and I travel once a month. Room is so so. For business travellers, the breakfast is a little busy and has a small area to sit. If you are in a hurry, thre are way too many people in the morning. Easy to get in and out of to the highway. Parking is $22.00. Might stay again, but the beds are a deterrent.

Very close to downtown, but have to go under or over interstate to get to it on foot. Expensive parking (did not use). Nice room, OK bath (old shower head). Exercise room is really only 2 machines. Breakfast room very small and cramped (juices, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, apples, waffles). Reception can be cramped if too may arrivals. Staff was very friendly. Very reasonable budget hotel.

Room was clean, however, first room they sent me to was a smoking room (even though I booked a non-smoking). Front desk seemed put out that I wanted to change. Lots of noise in hallways with doors banging, kids running from room to room (past midnight). Couldn't identify specific room to the front desk, so no action taken. Shower head was terrible. *$$* after taxes was way too much for this room.
