A better hotel than expected

Ordinarily I am not a fan of any Holiday Inn establishments, however this one was pleasantly surprising. The room was impeccably clean...infact, this was one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever encountered. The staff was friendly and quite helpful, the room quiet (even considering the major highway that is within close proximity) and, overall, the building was in good repair all around. Location was reasonably close to downtown (10 minutes or so) and was close enough to the airport (10-15 minutes). A great value, I would suggest that any business traveller consider this hotel.

The staff allowed a large and loud party to go on at the pool, in the parking lots and in the hallway all night long. They did not make any effort to stop the thumping music and shouting so we got no rest. It would have been better to try to sleep in my car along th ehighway and certainly quieter. DON"T STAY HERE!!!

Much better than expected
10/23/2007Excellent hotel especially for the price. breakfast very convenient with many choices. staff very friendly. room very clean and roomy. especially liked the separate work/sofa area. great value.

I was impressed with the marble tile and granite in the bathrooms (could be fake granite, but it looks great!). The soaps and shampoo all had a yummy cinnamon scent to them which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean, and the bed was VERY comfortable.. I felt like I was at the Mariott! Great hotel in Southwest Austin- so nice that I am booking my wedding rooms here!

The pool had a green tint so we did not feel comfortable to swim. I told the front desk and a couple days later the pool had cleared up. The sign out front was on the ground - looks like it was hit but we were there for 5 days and never saw anyone working on cleaning it up. Breakfast was very good - alot of choices and clean. The wall in our room separating the bed form the seating area had dirty markings all over it. Bathroom was clean but was in desparate need of ventilation for hot showers. Front desk personnel were very friendly.
