This hotel only met my expectations minimally. The bed was fine, the space adequate, and the staff friendly. But the room was only superficially clean and the kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils) less than adequate. I got dish soap and shampoo from the front desk by asking for it, but no salt or pepper, nor napkins or paper towel. The phone was so filthy I didn't want to touch it. Also, some very noisy guests partied late into the night in adjacent rooms. I didn't call the front desk because I didn't think the young woman at the front desk would be able to handle rowdy drunks at that hour. It was the cheapest rate I could find for a room with kitchen, but you get what you pay for. Not eager to go back.

I ALWAYS stay at this location when my family are in Virginia for at least seven days. I have always found the staff to be VERY accomadating when you have any question, need, or problem. The rooms I've stayed in have always been very clean and organized. I love this hotel because it gives the true feel of home. No having to get up at the crack of dawn to go downstairs to get breakfast. No intrution of cleaning service everyday unlesss I request it. They come to clean the room every seven days. For extended stays I think they are the best. The apartment size frig, cookware, dishes, microwave, dish rack, toaster, coffeemaker, and stovetop are a plus too. Cable and televison are standard like most hotels. The only drawback is no media players of any type and TVs that don't have A/V ports.

04/12/2007Our room was clearly not cleaned, the mgt. didn't make any attempt to make up for an obvious problem, although they were nice about acknowledging it. we are done ...
