This trip was probably the best I have had. Everyone was great at the hotel and I would definately recomend them to anyone planning to visit waikiki. The staff helped with booking shuttles to get us places we wanted to see and answered any questions we had. The food in the Jimmy Buffet was great and resonably priced. Overall trip was a 10 for sure.

Right in the middle of Waikiki. Close to the beach and convenient for driving anywhere on Oahu. The higher you are in the hotel, the better the view. Have to use your room key (swipe card) to use the elevator - great security feature. Staff was excellent. Always helpful and full of information. Parking was $18 a night - but it is Waikiki and parking is at a premium. All valet parking so no hassles getting, or leaving, your car. Room met my needs and was comfortable. Flat screen TV - watch the Japanese language channels to see lots of "tourist" destinations that you might otherwise miss. Don't worry about the language. A lot of it is easy to understand. Housekeeping service was thorough and efficient. Jimmy Buffetts restaurant has the same basic menu as his other places - with a few nods to Hawaiian food. Good but expensive. Look for "local" places that will give you a better idea of REAL Hawaiian food. The staff can help. Ask them where they eat and give those places a try.

This was my second time stating at this hotel. It is a great location, with food, fun, international market place, and nightlife steps away. The staff is great. They heard it was our honeymoon so they sent a bottle of champ. To the room. Free of course.

This was my second time staying here. It is a nice hotel that is close to food, the beach, shops, international market place, and nightlife. The staff is great , they heard that the reason we were there was for our honeymoon. So later that night they sent us a comp bottle of champ. That was very nice of them.

We stayed at the Ohana Waikiki back in October of 2008 and although it was my first time at this hotel, my boyfriend had stayed with them during previous visits. The hotel was under some renovation work and although that was a concern for me when we booked our reservation, the hotel was wonderful throughout, thier was no noise or inconvenience to us except that the pool was closed but who needed that with the ocean just across he street. The staff was friendly and always readily available, rooms were immaculate and new, the view was spectacular for a hotel being back off the ocean front and best of all, it was centrally located to everything, shopping, dukes, coconut willy's the market place and the ocean. For the comfort, cleanliness, friendlyness and location, you couldn't ask for a nicer or better priced hotel on the island. You get a lot from this hotel and I would recommend it highly for anyone and best of all, it won't break your bank allowing you to enjoy all the other opportunities on the island and then some.
