The elevator stopped working on the second day we were there. The room was dirty especially the bathroom. The only thing good was the pool and view of the ocean from our balcony. I put towels down on the floors because I was afraid to walk barefoot on the rug and tile.

The hotel was clean. The parking was limited. My door shook from the wind every night and kept me up. I arrived on Sunday afternoon and got my only time on the beach. The beach was closed the rest of the week because they were improving it by adding 4 feet of sand. Construction started at 5am with bulldozers outside and lights on the beach. On the street side there was construction right outside the hotel starting about the same time. Sleep was not happening much in that hotel. The rooms were cleaned each day, however the last few days some of the towels were not being replaced. If I stayed 2 more days I think I would have been towel-less. We had winds gusting up to 47 miles per hour one night and the wind came up thru the vent with the heat/air controls. It blew the curtains around and howled for hours. The bed closest to the window shook continuously from the wind. I was on the 5th floor and it was flooded in the hallways with standing water from the rain coming in from the end windows on the opposite side of the building. The breakfast was good. I think it would be a nice place to stay with good weather and an accessible beach. I thought are online booking agent was supposed to let you know about such things.

My fiance and I decided on a last minute trip to Myrtle Beach when she got home from work Friday night. I booked this hotel room for Saturday and Sunday night, and left as soon as she was packed. We arrived the next day and checked into our ocean front room without any problems. The room was spacious and clean. It had 2 TVs for downtime, which was good because one TV shorted out the second night we were there, but we weren't there for the TV so it was ok. We personally chose to have housekeeping stay out of our room for the duration, but they had no problem providing towels or toiletries when asked. Overall we had an excellent experience and I plan on requesting that same room the next time we go to Myrtle Beach.
