Accommodation was great and the nightly rate through was unbeatable. Hotel is just walking distance to the beach, shopping center, International Market. free Trolley ride to Ala Moana Center, with stops at different locations was an added convenience. Hotel room was clean and the service was excellent. Front desk clerks were courteous and helpful. Strongly recommend the hotel to everyone. One comment: The coffee pot cord was not long enough to reach the nearest outlet. I have to put it down on the floor next to the outlet.

This will be our 8th time going to Hawaii and the ONLY hotel we will ever stay in would be the Ohana Waikik West. WHY! Because we love it we love hawaii, we love the location, we love the people. We highly reccomend this hotel. So book today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

beds very uncomfortable. ours was broke and was propped up with wood at the end of it. sheets were just flat ones. hallways smelled musty. our view was horrible. bathroom was extremely small. the maid was nice and did a good job but i felt like this wasn't one of the cleanest places. front desk were nice and helpful. good location. but all in all, the hotel was out dated and a big disappointment.

THis hotel is not modern at all. It appears clean at first glance but watch out for the bedbugs. I had an aweful rash after leaving and my personal physician diagnosed me with scabies. Elevators are very slow and scary. It's not worth the money! The kitchenette is disgusting. We asked for 4 extra pillows and were only given 2. The mattresses are the worst I have ever stayed on, you will feel every spring and they are very noisy. Beware!!

My wife and I checked into this hotel after vacationing many times in Hawaii. We didn't have a lot of funds available for this trip and figured we'd spend a little less on the hotel to try and streamline costs. I can honestly say we have never made a worst mistake. This hotel was old, filthy and the staff was only friendly when you didn't need assistance. In our room there was numerous instances of mold under the sink fixture and near the bathroom which was a matchbox in size. The bed linens had stains on them and when we brought the issue to the attention of the staff they acted as if we were overreacting, which I find repulsive. Every evening when we would return for the day, there would inevitably be someone on our floor cooking in their kitchenette and the odors would completely fill our room making it unbearably smelly. Looking back on this experience I would advise anyone to spend a little extra money to stay in a nicer hotel than to stay in this or any of the Ohana hotels.
