Hotel is older and it shows. Chinese restaurant is next door. No continental breakfast but they do offer coffee service for morning and ice water the rest of the day. IHOP and a small cafe nearby. Parking is outdoor and limited. Staff was nice. It is a long walk to get to the beach.

The hotel staff is so friendly, and they treat me just like their family. This is a very small hotel that my stay in Waikiki very comfortable. Furthermore, their parking is cheapest in Waikiki that made me so happy and this hotel is very near to the Hawaii's largest shopping center is made my wife happy :=) this will my best score :=)

The hotel staff is so friendly, and they treat me just like their family. This is a very small hotel that my stay in Waikiki very comfortable. Furthermore, their parking is cheapest in Waikiki that made me so happy and this hotel is very near to the Hawaii's largest shopping center is made my wife happy :=) this will my best score :=)

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn - Waikiki the week of May 18. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms are now completely renovated & really comfortable! We got an excellent rate & the staff was super friendly and always willing to assist with suggestions, directions or whatever we asked. We liked the central location and ease to get both sides of Waikiki, the Ala Moana Center & all the attractions. We'll definitely come back to the Holiday Inn on our next Hawaii vacation.

To be an actual resident in Hawaii, I expected a lot better rooms. Its in Waikiki for goodness sakes! For the standard room they could at least have provided a free continental breakfast every morning, a microwave in the room, and they should include the parking fee of 13 dollars a day with the room price! I think its ridiculous the parking fee price. I think its way too much especially since the parking lot is super small and to get a actual parking space, you would need to be back at the hotel by a certain time. Another bad thing was all the construction going on in that area, it doesn't have any views of the ocean, and I think the overal price of the room should be lower because they don't provide much of anything. I wouldn't stay there ever again.
