Price and location was great although the rooms were typically your average "hotel type". It is a great property that should be transformed into a special boutique or traditional hotel for that location. I woulld definitey stay again. Management . Your property has fantastic potential!

We loved the aloha spirit this hotel staff gave everyday! From the maid service, bellmen, office staff, parking personel they really went beyond our expectations. While they seem to be working on improving the appearance, we would gladly stay again and look forward to our next visit. We enjoyed the great staff so much, we extended our stay by three days. We utilized the pool and shops in the hotel too. You could not ask for a better staff or experience. Very helpful staff during our entire stay. Aloha

This hotel is very old and worn out. The floors are dingy and the hallways are dark and in need of a coat of paint. We did have a beautiful view of Diamond Head and overlooking the zoo canopy. The lanai is very small, but adequate. The windows don't open, so we had to use the air conditioning the whole week, day and night. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, but the sheets didn't fit, so we were wrapped up in bedding by morning! The dining room was a good value for breakfast. The pool is closed at 6 pm; we would have liked to swim at night but weren't able to. In all, the hotel was ok. The moral to this story is that you get what you pay for.

Not to bad of a hotel. Its not 5stars, but if you wanted to stay in your room this is not the place. But if you are there to visit then this is a good place to stay. The people where nice and the room was quit at night. Its not far from the beach right around the corner. Places too eat and take a walk down main street is right there also. Was there for 4 nights and will stay here again. Also if you like to scuba, boogie board or surf board, down stairs in the lobby there is a place you can buy or rent any items you need. I looked around and is the cheapest around I found.

Well, this hotel if for sleeping and showering. Thats about it. It most definately is not someplace you want to hang out. The staff is really nice and helpful and the location is prime. Prime in the sense that it is at the end of the strip and a couple hotels up. So you are not in the middle of the non-stop foot traffic and mayhem that is Waikiki. Like other hotels, they burn you for parking. Be smart and walk a few blocks and park up the street in Kapahulu. Don't feed the greed! The restaurant looks like a truck stop so needless to say we didn't eat there. One thing that really was annoying was the elevators were so SLOW!!! At times we waited almost 5 minutes for a car. A couple times we just took the escalator to the second floor then got into the stairwell and hiked back up. Very lame! But we did need the exercise.... Also, I would highly recomend NOT getting a corner room. Yeah they are a bit bigger than the other rooms and the crank-windows seem like a great idea....BUT!!!...You will be awakened off and on all night with traffic noise and sirens! Lucky for me I had an RX that knocked me out for the most part. I stayed in a standard room before and it was MUCH more quiet. Go for that. So in the end, if you are on a budget and need to stay in Waikiki then this may be for you. It was only around $70 a night with AAA. First time I stayed was with my borther-in-law and it served its purpose, this last time was with my wife...Needless to say, I won't be booking the next vacation hotel.
