    The first room we were assigned had a leaky ceiling in the bathroom and water laying on the floor. (A patch on the ceiling indicated that they'd unsuccessfully tried to fix this problem in the past.) So we requested and received a new room. In the new room, neither the phone nor the alarm clock worked. I called the front desk from my cell phone and they said they couldn't do anything about the phone. The fridge didn't work well (wasn't very cold), and made a noise both day and night that sounded like microwave popcorn. The room was relatively clean, though dated, and it had some significant maintenance issues like a whole in the floor by the toilet. The one surprisingly decent thing about the room was the beds, which were fairly comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was well supplied, but the quality of the food was disappointing. There's a sign at the front desk with some sort of guarantee to make things right, but when I mentioned all these non-working things to them, they said they couldn't give any refund because I'd made the reservation through the Internet. (How convenient.) Truthfully, though, a refund still wouldn't have made me choose this place again. We'll go elsewhere the next time we're in Richmond (and we expect to be going a lot now.)

    Sure it's not the EMBASY SUITES, but it was clean and I had plenty of hot water. It took a while becaue we were on the fifth floor. We found the room to be clean, neat, non smelly, quite and overall very nice. Although a new mattress would be nice. Yes I would stay again just see Ms. C that keeps the breakfast from running .... Kudos to T*%Y the ""fix it guy"".

    The hotel was a Quality Inn, but alas we saw no quality. Our rooms were never cleaned and I had to ask for more toiletries. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. It was a reasonably priced hotel that disappointed me from the pictures I was shown on the online travel website site. I will not stay there again.

    Second nights stay, awoke to water pouring through ceiling. Gathered luggage and went to checkout. When I explained to the clerk the situation, she simply said, I'm sorry, someone must of have run over their shower. Well, let me tell you, it must of have been some deep and long shower. Then she handed me a receipt that didn't match to my internet receipt, but couldn't explain it either. Finished with me she quickly turned her attention to the next customer to devert attention I suppose. A real stinker you know, and I didn't even get a chance to take a shower.
